Patricia Anne Van Hear (Pat) died 3rd August 2020, aged 91, at Roscarrack House, Falmouth. Born Wimbledon 1929 and Falmouth resident for 64 years. Mother of Nick, Pete and Simon, grandmother of Cathy and Jimmy Van Hear.

Thoughts
Thanks to Danny Markey for his kind thoughts, remembering 'the atmosphere of the house in Florence Terrace that was like an extension of my own home.' (The home nearby of Danny's parents, Peter and Beryl Markey, was likewise a second home for Simon)

Michael Carver of the Poly recalls:
I certainly knew Pat in my early days at the Poly - her acting days were past, but she was still very active in Peter Gilson’s History Group, and in the Committee. Eileen Stratton ran - well, just about everything in those days, and in the Stratton Box I found some photographs of Pat in various parts. I remember one as Saint Joan.
